Free-standing objects made of spot-welded steel strips can be set into oscillation by an initial impulse. The resulting continuous motion causes their form to fluctuate between a deformed and a restored state.In the exhibition at Schauraum, a figure is presented in a way that, on the one hand, addresses the classical notion of a figure, and, on the other hand, makes reference to performances as we know them from popular culture.

Biography: Karl-Heinz Ströhle, born 1957, lives and works in Vienna.
