A midsummer night’s dream of a different kind, although: there is a ship, fog horn and flying amu- sement. If you look into the midsummer night’s dream, you will find yourself – in a sea of stone.“

The influence of film noir in black and white, Hitchcock’s nightmare sequences and the early avant-garde films with experimental camera movements and double exposures, is mirrored in the work AND I FIND ME in a three dimensional way; whereby observers can enact themselves into the dream (from projections). The spatial surrounding of the showroom and the oversized self-portrait of the viewer is reflected in the projection surface of stones. The space-media installation is the stage for an interplay, a dialogue between the external and in- ternal, it toys with personal perception and reality.
